LITA FORD Going Through "Ugly" Divorce From Ex-NITRO Singer Jim Gillette

In an interview with 96.7 KCAL Rocks at this year's NAMM, rock queen LITA FORD reveals that she and ex-NITRO singer Jim Gillette are getting divorced.

When asked about the material she is writing for her upcoming solo album, Ford says, "I'm going through a divorce right now, and it's a really ugly divorce, so the album is based around people and their problems - whether it's divorce, or whether it's sickness, or whether they lost a job - the album is called The Healing, and it's all based around those sort of things - sickness, cancer, loss, divorce. It's not going to be a depressing album, so far the songs are very upbeat."
