Dave Evans – Judgement Day
AC/DC co-founder & original frontman
Dave Evans has signed a UK exclusive deal with Rocksector Records to release his latest album,
“Judgement Day”. An April release date is planned, followed by UK tour dates.
Evans, who formed the band along with brothers
Angus & Malcolm Young, left
AC/DC late in 1974, replaced by Bon Scott & went on to enjoy success in Australia with Rabbit, Thunder Down Under & also toured the United States & Europe with his band The Baddasses.
“Judgement Day” has everything you might expect from this album with hard rocking songs, balls-out gutsy rock ‘n’ roll & defiant vocals typified by the opening track
“We Don't Dance To Your Song”.
Lynne Hampson, PR Manager at Rocksector, has this to say: “Everyone at the label is excited about this signing.
Dave is a singer with a real heritage & his addition to our roster gives a great contrast where many of our artists are new bands making their way & developing/establishing themselves in their career.
Dave brings something different. He's seen it all & comes to us self-assured but with an infectious enthusiasm & love for what he does. We're really looking forward to people hearing the album & seeing the live shows.”
The tour dates are pencilled in to begin on 21st May & will include shows in Newcastle, Manchester, Grimsby, London, Birmingham & more.
