Hello my Babies in the Dark!

It's Dani here, writing from my hometown Santos. Crappy weather today, rainy, grey but it feels good to come back home in a way, it was great seeing my family, my pets, my bed... however it feels bad in another way: I miss life on the road and I certainly miss all the great people that I get to know at the shows! Also miss the fun of being on stage even though the last gig we played was a few days ago (Sunday).

I promised you guys a full tour report and that's in the works! Yeah I know, it should be done by now *laughs*. There are lots of great memories that I wanna share with you all. We had a blast on this tour and can't wait to be back there! It looks like we'll see you again VERY soon in 2010! Stay with me in the upcoming days, I will write a daily blog about the latest shows, starting in Schaumburg, IL and ending with the perfect tour finale at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh, PA!

I was extremely excited before we left for this U.S. run and now I'm twice as excited for 2010... if things continue shaping up the way they have been during the past few months, then you rockers and metalheads out there should definitely get ready for the Shadowside Hurricane!

The year isn't over yet and we already have Dare to Dream as one of the best selling Metal CDs in our homecountry, played U.S., Spain, Brazil (and will play some more here before the end of the year) and this weekend we will be at ExpoMusic in Sao Paulo appearing at Roadie Crew, Comando Rock, Dynamite, Elixir, Rock Brigade and Lady Snake stands for some signing sessions. I can't thank you all (the fans) enough for all your support and for making it possible for us to achieve the dreams we once DARED TO DREAM!

After over 30 hours awake, I'm finally relaxed enough to get some sleep so good night everyone (or good morning...*laughs). Check back tomorrow for the first chapter of the Wake Up Screaming U.S. Tour 2009 - Schaumburg, IL!

Olá, meus Babies in the Dark!

Quem fala aqui é a Dani, escrevendo de Santos, minha cidade natal. O tempo está terrível hoje, chovendo, cinza, mas por um lado é bom voltar para casa, senti falta da minha família, meus animais, minha cama... mas é ruim por outro lado: eu sinto falta da vida na estrada e ainda mais de todas as pessoas maravilhosas que acabo conhecendo nos shows! Também sinto falta da diversão de estar no palco, apesar de termos tocado há apenas alguns dias atrás (Doming).

Prometi a vocês um relatório completo da turnê e isso está a caminho! Sim, eu sei, já deveria estar feito agora *risos*. Tenho muitas memórias maravilhosas para compartilhar com todos vocês. Nos divertimos demais nessa turnê e mal posso esperar para cair na estrada de novo! Aparentemente, retornaremos para os EUA mais cedo do que esperávamos, no início de 2010, mas também verei nossos fãs brasileiros antes disso! Porém me acompanhem nos próximos dias, vou escrever um blog diário sobre os últimos shows, começando por Schaumburg, Illinois e terminando com o final perfeito da excursão que foi no Hard Rock Cafe de Pittsburgh, Pennsyvania (além da tradução dos relatórios que já postei antes)!

Eu estava muito animada antes de viajarmos para esse giro pelos Estados Unidos e agora estou duplamente ansiosa por 2010... se as coisas continuarem como estão, vocês definitivamente devem se preparar para o furacão Shadowside!

O ano ainda não acabou e já conquistamos várias coisas, como ter o Dare to Dream como um dos discos de Metal mais vendidos do Brasil, tocamos nos Estados Unidos, Espanha, aqui no Brasil (e ainda faremos mais alguns shows antes do final do ano) e estaremos na Expomusic em São Paulo neste final de semana, nos stands da Roadie Crew, Comando Rock, Rock Brigade, Dynamite, Elixir e Lady Snake. Não tenho como agradecer o suficiente por todo o apoio que temos recebido de vocês (os fãs) e por vocês tornarem possível para nós alcançarmos os sonhos que nos atrevemos a sonhar!

Agora, depois de mais de 30 horas acordada, finalmente relaxei o suficiente para conseguir dormir. Boa noite a todos (ou bom dia...*risos) e visitem-nos amanhã para o primeiro "capítulo" da Wake Up Screaming U.S. 2009 tour - Schaumburg, Illinois!
