As reported yesterday by TMZ,
former WARRANT vocalist JANI LANE was found dead at the Comfort Inn
hotel in Woodland Hills, CA yesterday evening (August 11th). So far, no
official cause of death has been released. Lane was 47 years old.





A number of rock stars have offered up their thoughts and condolences:


SLASH (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES): "Just heard about Jani Lane. What a shame. RIP man."


Nikki Sixx (MÖTLEY CRÜE): "I just heard the sad news about Janie Lane. So hard to swallow when people have kids. RIP."
