| Another Kerrang! review!!!! Its a little late at coming, due to massive workload making the new record and getting ready to hit the road on Saxon's Battalion's Of Steel tour, we are only posting this now. Recently we supported Nazareth and the gig was reviewed by Sam Law and published in Kerrang! below is a copy of the section of the review concerning Sweet Savage. Congrats to Nazareth on a great gig, thanks for a great night and well done on your KKKK review.
Nazareth plus Sweet Savage Spring & Airbrake, Belfast 27/02/09 KKKK
In spite of their hometown advantage, Sweet Savage take the stage like a band with something to prove tonight. Technical hitches aside, their tested combination of technicality and charisma does much to compensate for a cannon of tunes simply too heavy for many of the ageing crowd. Eye Of The Storm and a rejuvinated Queens Vengence off the upcomming LP are simply excellent, while the controvertial decision to eschew Killing Time really drives home that these guys are less interested in reliving past glories and more in forging ahead with better things still to come. With three generations of fans willing them on, Nazareth...................................

| Today we take to the road...... Today we take to the road once again, this time as special guests to Saxon on their Battalion of Steel tour, at this point there is very little to say, we have been working very hard trying to get new songs into the set and bring out the new material for the whole of the UK and Ireland to hear. We are planning on doing a day by day blog with someone different writing it each day, just to keep everyone up to date with the goings on in our world. On a separate note, Warbird is now complete, we are waiting on the confirmed release date but it is on the way, over the coming few months, stick with us and we will be bringing out the track listings, artwork and some sneak samples of the new record in all its glory. Stay tuned!

| First gig done and dusted, all went well, a bit shaky on the first night tecnically wise, but we did rock! Playing Hammerfest tomorrow night, it should be a riot. Jack Daniels always tastes sweeter when your playing in a rock'n'roll band, what more could 4 poor boys from Belfast want? than rock'n'roll, girls and booze! Julian forgot his passport today and we thought we were in the shit, we just made it to the airport with enough time for Julian to get a round in by way of appology, i'm still as tight as ever, i've bought nothing all day! I LOVE ROCK'N'ROLL!!!

So a huge thank you to Biff, Nigel, Paul, Doug & Nibbs from Saxon as well as all the crew especially Rene (live sound) Roger & Leo (Guitar & bass techs) Not forgetting Jana our coach driver.
We'd also like to say thank you to Doro & the guys, Johnny, Nick, Baz & Luca - you guys rocked.
Also a huge thank you to Thomas & Stevie for making it all happen and to Eddie for organising it all.

| Hey everyone!
We have just completed our new album 'WARBIRD' It has been sent off for mastering. And failing any hitches, a release date has be set for late July (will keep you posted on that).
We are currently investigating some festivals, shows & support slots to promote WARBIRD.
Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) will be making a guest appearance on the new album. Viv will be playing on a cover version of Whiskey In The Jar.
You may or may not know that Viv was one of the original members of Sweet Savage & it's pretty cool to have him play on this with us once again.
Amazingly he will be recording the solo in L.A. and sending it via email.
Isn't technology awesome?
Stay tuned to the myspace page and the website for more news very soon, we will be releasing the track listing as well as gradually releasing new photos of the band and the album artwork.
Thanks for all the private messages we have recieved since the Saxon tour, its great to know how well the band is recieved all over the world!
