| Sense the Fire.... New track coming soon!
Dear all,
We are pleased to announce that one of the new long awaited album tracks will be added to the new Bandit Rock Radio compliation Cd which is scheduled for a release towards the end of May. Of course we will update you with the exact information once it becomes available!
The new song is called " Sense the Fire " and as a special incentive, we took it upon ourselves to make a new video to accompany the song and all i will say right now is that it is going to be amazing and unlike any video the band has ever done before!

| Sense the Fire Available for purchase on itunes today 27.05.09 Dear all, To coincide with the release of the Bandit Rock Compilation Album today, we are pleased to announce that the single is available for purchase on itunes. In order to buy the track, all you need to do is to set your itunes store to Sweden. This is usually set at the bottom of the home page and the head to the search bar at the top. Then simply type Bandit Rock and in the track listing you will find "Sense the Fire"  We hope you enjoy the first new release of 2009! | |

| Arvika Approaching! Dear All, Its almost that time again for Engel to Hit the Festival Stage and preparations are underway to make this an exciting live performance. Well this weekeend in a very Sunny Gothenbureg features the mighty Metal Town festival and dont forget that this evening will feature our very own Marcus and Magnus as special guest DJ's at the after show parties. It shouldnt be too hard to find them if you follow the trail of empty cans up the Avenue and just listen for the awesome sounds of Metal coming from the top ! Wacken is over for this year. We had a blast playing there and seeing all you people in the crowd made us a bit proud. Thanks to all who where there,....

| New Updates and New Pictures added! Dear all, No doubt everyone has finally recovered from this months festival fun and i know we certainly have and we are really pleased to have added some new pictures from the Wacken Open Air performance. As always, we have to thank the very talented Daniel Falk for taking these live shots and we also hope to have some more from this photographic genius in the very near future so please stay tuned! Am still hoping to start a fans favourite picture section and please send us your favourite Engel moments and possibly your most favourite Engel member??? Ok, maybe not so much the last part as its not a popularity contest within this band although i do think we are like a box of Candy with something for everyone and I'm not just saying that for fear of coming last! Right, time for a show update... On September the 4th we will be playing a rather Special show at the Illustrious Cave venue in Stockholm and we will also have a new and exclusive new T Shirt design to launch. There is a limited stock at present and we hope you will manage to get yours before supply runs out. More news on this Show will be updated very soon! My spirits were elevated by the enchanting appearance of nature; the past was blotted from my memory, the present was tranquil, and the future gilded by bright rays of hope and anticipations of joy. | |

| Thank you Stockholm!!! New Live video added too Dear All, First of all, we would like to say a big thank you for all of you that made it to the Cave in Stockholm and also a big thank you to all of the staff and the wonderful support they gave us for this very special show. For us it was a great occasion to play some previously unheard material that will feature on the new album and of course now we are starting to plan for the next tour with Paradise Lost. I have uploaded a live video from the Cave show filmed by the ever talented Danial Falk on his new HD video Camera. You can find this in the Video section on the main page and i beleive that there may be more live footage to follow!!! On the tour situation, we also hope that we will have some more live updates soon and as always, please watch this space . . . nothing contributes so much to tranquillize the mind as a steady purpose . . . | |

| BREAKING NEWS!!! NEW TOUR DATES ADDED TODAY
Dear All,
I am happy to announce that we have added even more shows to the calender and will now feature as the main support for Paradise Lost in Holland and Belgium and we will also return in late November for some of the special Scandinavian shows along with Samael.
Of course, some details are subject to change and we hope to announce futher shows in the not too distant future!

Dear All,
We have all been busy recently with the preparation of the upcoming tour and we are really looking forward to being out on the road once more. We cant wait to meet you and be nice to catch up with some new and old friends again!
We have got the set together and its going to be a good mixture of some new and classic songs from us and we know you are going to be more than happy!
As always we would really appreciate you spreading the word and helping us out alot!

| Tour Stories part One
Dear All,
This is the first time i have been able to get online since we started a few days ago and finally have some free internet access.
Its been an interesting start for us and we will try and document everything for our next video. Glasogow sadly we had to finish the set earlier than planned but it usually the case one the first show of the tour but we were more than happy that all things went really well in Wrexham.
We managed to have alot of fun in this strange little welsh town and honestly we ended up filming so much from there that we could just make a documentary just for Wrexham alone... It certainly was an eye opener for all of us!
We just finished our set in newcastle and decided to try a new approach to the show using less technology. We hadnt planned it that way but i guess we like a challenge and the audience seemed to enjoy this new approach.
Lets see what happens next in Manchester!

| Tour Diary vs.2 Dear All, We are in Utrecht today and the last European show with Paradise Lost until we rejoin the guys from the last 3 Scandinavian Shows at the end of the Month. I have to say thanks to everyone from the PL camp from band to crew with a special thank you to Milly and Soldier for being so good to us from day one and making everything run as smoothly for all of us on this tour. I have to give thanks to all of you that came along to the shows and gave us your full support and it has been really great to meet many of you in Person and put the faces behind the myspace profile, makes us all seem Human after all! Tonight's show should be awesome as its our last main support slot before heading to the mighty Hamburg for the start of our own special show and selected Scandinavian shows. New pictures and video's will be added to the Fans section that will be added soon! Please keep them coming in | |

| Thank you Hamburg Yesterday was an awesome experience and so much fun. I want to thank all of you that made it and to the staff for being so great and making it a great show for us. Now its time to get cleaned up and try and get some sleep before the long drive to Stockholm for our Bandit Boat Rock show! | Busy,Busy,Busy!!! Dear All, First of all apologies for the very late blog and its mostly my fault and i offer my upmost and sincerest apologies for this! In my defense, its not because i have been a bit lazy but certainly busy as have the rest of us. Things in the Engel camp never quite slow down as we are always plots to be made, schemes to try out and darstardly deed always a foot in our bid for word domination Of course last month saw the realease of Threnody in Japan and the reaction has been amazing and just a measure of things to come this year. Inspired by this we then took it upon ourselves to make another new video with our great film director friend... Mr PA Nilson with whom we are lost and always indebted too We decided to try something a little different from the usual approach and what i can say is that making this video was so much fun and exhausting as well. Which song you may ask? Well i guess you will have to wait and see but i can say that its a new track from the new album Ok not much being given away there so you will just have to keep posting and writing comments! The first Festival appearance for Engel will be at the Getaway Festival in July that has one of the most impressive line ups ever to be seen and guarenteed to be the greatest Festival in Sweden this year! Of course i would also say this about Metal Town in Gothenburg but seeing as they chose not to have Engel play this year... well makes it second best in my book More live updates as always to follow and watch this space people!
