Austrian metallers SERENITY have issued the following update:

“Hey all you maniacs out there!

Time to give you a little update about what’s new... and hopefully interesting for you.

As you may have heard already Simon (Holzknecht) has joined good friends of ours - Austrian symphonic metal masters EDENBRIDGE! We wish him all best for this challenge and great times with his new bandmates! Of course he stays with Serenity too, anyone thought anything else?

At the moment we're doing the preproduction for our upcoming album and the stuff really sounds great!! We even have some working titles like Duke of Medina, Drake and Rose of Venice! In the next days we'll tell you some more details!

Another 2 days with Threshold
Hi, we had another 2 days on the road and what to say??? Everything's just fine!

Bielefeld/Germany was some kind of strange.... A lot of problems during the whole day for really everybody included into this tour package. No local crew, no stagehands, no lighning tech (I did lights for Threshold ;-)), no backstage room (there was a bar where we had dinner and everything - but needed to get out there at around 6 p.m., and much much more.... This is really strange for such a tour - however, though only about 100 people the concert was great as always.

Pratteln/Switzerland today was great, perfect PA, top lighning engineer, top technics everywhere, a hughe venue, about 350-400 people, perfect... Threshold is still playing their set (a great live band by the way) and SERENITY is just taking a shower (not together ;-))

The best thing on this tour is that we don't need to drive with a van and on our own. Going into the nightliner and don't need to worry on anything is a great feeling again! So no lack of sleep, no big problems,.... Ahhhhhhhhh great.

Tonight we head back to Munich/Germany where we will play tomorrow. Then on Tuesday we have a day off in ..Munich.. (expected it to be in ..Prague.. :-() We will probably visit some friends (..munich.. is only 1-2 hours away from our homes and home of our studios and techs) or try some gear at the JustMusic music store and then we head over to ....Poland..... We don't know what to expect there but time will tell.

We are discussing peoples reactions every day and try to give our new knowledge into the SERENITY concept for the future. At the moment this means more melodic than ever before.... Just what we wanted to do anyway!
