On March 28th, Eagle Rock’s Armoury Records is releasing the truly unique SIN-atra album. This is another mind and genre-bending triumph from the team that brought you We Wish You A Metal Xmas and, put simply, is the world of heavy metal’s tribute to the genius of FRANK SINATRA.

Featuring a great line-up of artists, SIN-atra offers a set of totally original versions of classic Frank Sinatra songs. The album features twelve songs made famous by Ol’ Blue Eyes which are given a radical and individual new treatment from some of the finest voices in rock including members of ANTHRAX, TWISTED SISTER, DEEP PURPLE, QUEENSRŸCHE, MR BIG, WARRANT and CHEAP TRICK with the backing of a superb band led by guitarist Bob Kulick (KISS/MEAT LOAF).

TIM "RIPPER" OWENS Comments On FRANK SINATRA Album; "I Had A Blast Doing This"


From the Ukranian capital, where the former JUDAS PRIEST and ICED EARTH vocalist is in the midst of an Eastern European solo tour, TIM "RIPPER" OWENS responded to a BraveWords.com inquiry about the forthcoming Sin-Atra album, where many metal vocalists take a crack at FRANK SINATRA classics. Owens offers up 'Witchcraft', one of the Chairman Of The Board's signature tunes. "I just love to sing and do whatever I can. I am lucky I get asked to do these things and be on a CD with great musicians and friends!"

Did Owens grow up on Ol' Blue Eyes? "Wasn't my parents. They where rock n rollers: BTO, ROLLING STONES, AEROSMITH.. I had a blast doing this though, and to be honest, I haven't heard the final yet. As usual, everybody else gets before me!"
