DARK WINGS SYNDROME - Free Single Download Still Available; More Arcane Album Details Revealed








After the outstanding response to 'Spiritual Emotions', the first single taken from their debut album (and which within one week had over 3,000 downloads), Portuguese prog-rock/metal band DARK WINGS SYNDROME will release their new album, Arcane, on August 16th via Ethereal Sound Works for the Portuguese market.

Meanwhile the single 'Spiritual Emotions', taken from the debut album, is still available for free download at this location.

Arcane was mixed and mastered by David Castillo (KATATONIA, BLOODBATH, KLIMT 1918, DRACONIAN) at Ghostward Studio in Stockholm, Sweden. The initial recording sessions for the CD took place at Teatro Construção (ATC), DWS Studio and 213 Studios (Portugal) between August and December 2009/ January 2010 under the guidance of Rui Ferreira (Caps) (Dark Wings Syndrome).

Dark Wings Syndrome’s debut album will feature several guest appearances such as Nera (DARZAMAT, NERANATURA) vocals on 'Free-Flowing'; Johnny Icon (ICON, THE BLACK ROSES) vocals on 'Hadred/Ódio'; Susana Silva vocals on 'My Silence'; Davide Tiso (EPHEL DUATH) additional guitar on '...In Hades (Pt. 1)'; Miriam Renvåg (SFINX, RAM-ZET) growl vocal on '...In Hades (Pt. 1)'; Ernesto Guerra (HEAVENWOOD) vocals on 'In My Crystal Cage'; Hugo Correia (FADOMORSE) orchestral arrangements & programming on 'In My Crystal Cage'; Artur Fernandes (DANCAS OCULTS) diatonic accordion on 'Unknown Pleasures'; Karolina Vel Death (SKEPTICAL MINDS) vocals on 'Unknown Pleasures'.
