HELLYEAH - UK Release For Stampede Announced







HELLYEAH, the US five-piece featuring members of PANTERA, MUDVAYNE, NOTHINGFACE and DAMAGEPLAN, will have their second/latest studio album Stampede released on Spinefarm Records UK on June 28th.

Produced by drummer Vinnie Paul (Pantera/DAMAGEPLAN) and engineer Sterling Winfield, the record features 11 brand new studio numbers, including lead track ‘Cowboy Way’, first single/video ‘Hell Of A Time’ and the teasingly titled ‘Pole Dancer’.

Formed in 2006, HY – completed by frontman Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne), guitarist Tom Maxwell (Nothingface) and bassist Bob Zilla (Damageplan) – enjoyed considerable Stateside success with their debut 2007 outing, simply titled ‘HELLYEAH’; driven forward by tracks such as ‘You Wouldn’t Know’ & ‘Alcohaulin’ Ass’, both major US hits, the album smashed its way into the Billboard Top 10, going on to sell in excess of 365,000 copies in America alone.

And now comes Stampede, available across a variety of formats (including double coloured vinyl plus a limited edition with branded bull’s head!), this time supported by an extensive European touring plan that will see the five playing a number of festivals, including a main-stage appearance at Download in the UK on June 12th, before returning in the Autumn for a major run of headline dates.

They will also be playing live at this year’s prestigious Metal Hammer Awards (June 14th), followed by a headline show at King’s College in London (June 15th), driving an outsize 18-wheeler across the middle ground between the Southern rock of Skynyrd on the one side and the party groove of prime-time VAN HALEN on the other. Iconically American they may be, but they’re happy for anyone, anywhere to join in with the fun...

HELLYEAH - Another Show Cancelled







HELLYEAH has issued the following update from the road:

"To our loyal European Fans: We have to unfortunately cancel another show. We will not be playing Saturday's Rock Am Ring Festival in Germany. We will be hanging out on site so make sure you come by and have a drink with us. Good News is Chad (Gray, vocalist) will be flying from the US to make it back for our Sunday show at the Rock Im Park Festival.

Chad also wanted us to send to you the following note: “I just want to thank all our fans and friends for your kind words during my family emergency. It really meant a lot to me to have your support. I'm bummed that I will miss another show at Rock Am Ring, but I can't wait to get back on the tour starting this Sunday (June 6th) and kick some major ass in Europe!!!... and don't worry for those of you we couldn't play for... we will make it up you in the fall!!”

HELLYEAH Join Forces With Stratus Racing For Daytona Packages






HELLYEAH, featuring Vinnie Paul (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN), Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett (MUDVAYNE), Tom Maxwell (NOTHINGFACE) and Bob Zilla (Damageplan) is bringing the party to NASCAR.

Hellyeah has partnered with Stratus Racing to premiere the new NASCAR Nationwide COT (car of tomorrow), which will be wrapped with the Hellyeah logo, at Daytona Raceway over the Fourth of July weekend. Fans are being offered a once in a lifetime experience to watch the Hellyeah-wrapped #73 Car from the Pit for its Daytona race on July 2nd, 2010.

Those who purchase the package will watch the race from that special vantage point with the members of Hellyeah and the Stratus Racing crew.

Only 20 packages will be sold in total and they’re currently available for purchase at this location.

HELLYEAH’s Vinnie Paul Talks About Upcoming Cookbook; Video Available

A few weeks ago the boys from HELLYEAH stopped by LimeWire’s HQ and did a little grilling and chilling on our rooftop. Legendary drummer Vinnie Paul demonstrated his cooking skills by making his world-famous stuffed jalapenos.

After whipping up burgers and drinking up all of our Coors Lite, Paul talked exclusively to LWMB about his upcoming cookbook, Drumming Up An Appetite With Vinnie Paul.

“There will be all types of amazing recipes with tongue-in-cheek flair,” the legendary drummer told us. “You’ll have a lot of fun reading it, and I’m hoping to have a lot of friends [in the book] too.”
