IRON MAIDEN Announce New Studio Album The Final Frontier, North American Tour With Special Guests DREAM THEATER






IRON MAIDEN are pleased to announce that their forthcoming new studio album will be called The Final Frontier, and is expected be released late summer of this year.

The announcement comes with news of a North American Tour with special guests DREAM THEATER to open in Dallas, Texas, on June 9th and finish in Washington D.C. on July 20th, making it Maiden's most extensive North American tour in many years.

Following these shows in USA and Canada The Final Frontier World Tour will travel back to Europe for a few selected major festival and stadium shows with the band planning to continue to many other countries in 2011 (full currently confirmed dates below).

An exclusive pre-sale allowing members of the Iron Maiden fan club first access to tickets to the North American Maiden Shows will be made available two days prior to them being available to the public.

Tickets for the Canadian shows will go on sale to the public on Saturday, March 13th at 10 AM (PST) (10 AM, EST for Toronto and 12 noon EST Montreal).

Exclusive first access to the tickets will be available to IM fan club members on Wednesday, March 10th at 10 AM (PST) through to Thursday, March 11th at 6 PM (PST) (EST for Toronto).

Regretfully due to technical reasons an exclusive Pre-Sale in Montreal is not possible.

Tickets for the US Shows will go on sale to the public on Saturday, March 20th at 10 AM (EST).

Exclusive first access to the tickets will be available to IM fan club members on Wednesday, March 17th at 10 AM (EST) through to Thursday, March 18th at 6 PM (EST).

As Iron Maiden are actively dedicated to ensuring their fans always have access to the best possible tickets at the fairest possible price, without being subject to scalping for good seats, so many North American shows will operate, at least in part, a paperless ticket policy: More information on Ticketmaster Paperless Ticketing can be found here.

IRON MAIDEN - "North America Beware" Announcement Set For Thursday







According to a posting at their official website, British metal legends will be making an announcement on Thursday, March 4th at 12 PM PST/15 EST/20 GMT dubbed "North America Beware."

Iron Maiden recently completed the recording their new album at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas with producer Kevin Shirley (LED ZEPPELIN). According to a posting on Shirley’s official website: “There’s still work to do, but the band portion is complete and in the can, so to speak.”

Iron Maiden has already announced they will be headlining UK’s Sonisphere festival, Wacken Festival and Bergen this summer. See tour dates below:

IRON MAIDEN Confirmed To Headline 25th Anniversary Of Belgium's Pukkelpop Festival






According to the official Pukkelpop Festival website IRON MAIDEN have been confirmed to headline the 25th anniversary edition of the event. It will run from August 19th - 21st in Hasselt-Kiewit, Belgium.

As previously reported, Iron Maiden recently announced a show at historic Villa Manin in Italy for August 17th and Bruce Air is hoping to fly out specially!

According to a band update, Iron Maiden will play an exclusive show in Italy at the Villa Manin nr Udine as part of their Final Frontier World Tour on August 17th. Bruce is planning a BruceAir* excursion from London's Gatwick Airport., so keep checking this website for details which will be announced as soon as possible.

The majestic ensemble of Villa Manin, located in Codroipo in the province of Udine, is one of the most important artistic Italian monuments. Commissioned in the 17th century by Ludovico Manin to celebrate the wealth and power of the Manin family, it was the family's country house. At the end of the 18th century, under the reign of the last doge of Venice, Ludovico Manin (1789-1898), Napoleon Bonaparte chose this regal residence as the General Headquarters of the French troops stationed here in 1797 during the Italian campaign. The new order he was later to impose on the whole of Europe was planned here. It was in the rooms of the Doge's residence that the important negotiations which were to culminate in the "Treaty of Campoformido" (October 17, 1797) were held, thus marking the end of the Republic of Venice to the benefit of the Hapsburg Empire.?What a perfect location for Maiden's triumphant return to Italy in their first show there since Bologna in 2008!

IRON MAIDEN Confirmed For 2010 Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest


After an 18 year absence, IRON MAIDEN are returning to Canada’s capital city on July 6th to play at the world-famous Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest.

According to a band update, "the last time Maiden played in Ottawa was during the Fear Of The Dark Tour in 1992 so are well overdue a return visit! The prestigious Bluesfest is ranked by Billboard Magazine as one of the top-10 Festivals in the world, so what better way to kickstart proceedings than by having Iron Maiden headline the opening night! Beginning on Tuesday July 6 through Sunday July 11 and recommencing Tuesday July 13 running through to Sunday July 18, Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest will be presenting a wide and varied programme of more than 2,000 of the best blues, r&b, soul, gospel, pop, world and rock musicians in the world.

The Festival takes place at LeBreton Flats Park in the heart of downtown Ottawa at a beautifully spacious riverside location.

IRON MAIDEN Confirmed For Québec City Summer Festival







British metal legends IRON MAIDEN have confirmed that they will perform at this year’s Québec City Summer Festival.

This is the 43rd year for the Festival, which began in 1968 by showcasing local artists, and has since evolved into an annual major attraction featuring the cream of International talent across all genres of music. The Festival runs July 8 – 18 with an amazing 300 shows spanning 11 days, making it Canada’s biggest outdoor artistic event. Maiden, who last week won a Juno award for their documentary DVD Flight 666, will be headlining the Festival’s Bell Stage - Plains Of Abraham on Friday July 9, their first appearance in Québec City in four years. The show forms part of the First Leg of Maiden’s Final Frontier World Tour which kicks off in America in Dallas June 9th and moves into Canada late June for a series of dates there before heading back into the US, then on into Europe.
