U.D.O. - First Four European Dates Of 2010 Cancelled

U.D.O., the band led by former ACCEPT singer Udo Dirkschneider, has postponed the first four shows of 2010 (January 6th until 9th - three dates in the UK and one in Belgium) of their European tour 2010. The new dates will "probably" be rescheduled in May 2010 and will be announced soon.

2009 saw Udo Dirkschneider enjoyed the most successful year of his career fronting U.D.O.

The band's Dominator recorded became the most successful album of his solo career, reaching # 27 on the German charts, their highest entry ever. National television WDR featured a career restrospective of the diminutive frontman and more than 35,000 people attended concerts on the initial leg of the Dominator tour, playing to fans in Norway, France, Spain and just a handful of homegrown dates.

U.D.O. - Two More Festival Shows Added To European Tour Schedule







German metal veterans U.D.O., featuring former ACCEPT frontman Udo Dirkschneider, have added festival shows (**) in Ochsenburg, Germany and Warsaw, Poland on May 29th and June 6th respectively to their tour schedule. Check it out below.

As previously reported, U.D.O. were forced to cancel two shows in Belarus planned for April 19th and 20th in Mogilev and Vitebsk respectively. The band has issued the following statement:

"Our Russian tourpromoter just informed us that the two shows in Belarus are cancelled because of problems with the local promoter in Belarus. Seems to be very difficult to find a serious guy there. The band really regrets this decision but it is not into our hands to decide this. We are very sorry for all the fans who wanted to meet us there.

Because of two available dates in the schedule our tour promoter booked a show for April 20th in Kiev, Ukraine at Shtolya Club."
