Kittie shot a video for the track 'Sorrow I Know' (from the band’s forthcoming In</A>The Black album) in New York City on July 26th.

The band have posted footage shot at the video shoot, as well as a clip shot at the photo shoot for In The Black. Check out the clips below.

It is preceeded by their set opener 'My Plague', also featured in the new album. The footage was filmed August 1st in Saginaw, MI. Check out the footage below.

London, Ontario's KITTIE have updated their MySpace player to stream the new song 'Sorrow I Know', which joins the previously posted tracks 'Cut Throat' and 'My Plague'.

KITTIE's Morgan Lander - "We Love Everything About Touring"






Hard Rock Hideout caught up with KITTIE vocalist/guitarist Morgan Lander recently. A brief excerpt from the interview follows:

Q: So, Morgan, where in the world are you?

A: "Home! We, (Kittie) have been off tour since January 25th, (of 2010)."

Q: How was the tour in Europe?

A: "Awesome, we had a really good time."

Q: One of the great things about being a world known band, is the opportunity to travel the world and see so many great countries.

A: "Yeah, it is a great experience to go to so many different countries and play in front of the fans around the world. We had some fans that traveled eight hours in Europe, just to come out and see us! That really means a lot to Kittie, having fans that will travel that long and far to see our show."

Q: Kittie and God Forbid in the States, what can the fans expect?

A: "Fun! We know God Forbid real well, plus we never toured together, so it should be great. We have always talked about touring together, (with God Forbid), now it’s going to happen. We also share a mutual crew person."

Q: Any tour pet peeves you want to reveal?

A: "I, Kittie, we love everything about touring. Let’s see... there is one pet peeve that really bothers us all, it’s when strangers knock on the tour bus door! Anytime of the day it’s scary, especially at night. The tour bus is our home, our sanctuary, you just don’t go knocking on someone’s front door in the middle of the night! We don’t feel very safe just opening up the door to strangers that want to meet us. Besides, maybe I’m in my pajamas!"

Q: Is there a live album in the future for Kittie?

A: "No, yet we always wanted to do one. It’s definitely doable, we could work it out. If one was to happen, I would want it to be a CD/DVD combination. A future live album from Kittie would be an eye opener for the fans as well, it’s been ten years of Kittie! We definitely have the material and so much has changed with Kittie since the Spit In Your Eye video, which came out in 2000."

KITTIE - New Video To Premiere On Thrash And Burn Tour MySpace Page On Monday



According to an update from London, Ontario's KITTIE, the band's new video for the song 'Die My Darling' - the third single from their most recent album, In The Black - will premiere on the official Thrash And Burn MySpace page at 3:00pm EST on Monday, June 7th. Veteran Canadian director John Barber directed the video.

"We had the most fun we have ever had filming this video. There are cars babes and beatings involved, and it is unlike anything we have ever done before. We can't wait for everyone to see it!", says front woman Morgan Lander.

Kittie recently announced their participation in this year’s Thrash And Burn Tour in North America this summer as part of their extensive touring plan. Spanning coast to coast, the tour will be making stops in all major markets. ASKING ALEXANDRIA and BORN OF OSIRIS will co-headline the festival, with support from Kittie, STICK TO YOUR GUNS, IMPENDING DOOM, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD (first half), EVERGREEN TERRACE (second half), GREELEY ESTATES, PERIPHERY, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE and CHELSEA GRIN.
